The University 

The Island University is established to fulfill the following objectives among others as contained in the Republic of Panama Public Document No. 953, which granted legal status to the University and in the Constitution Charter Documents filed with the Belize Authorities:

• To deliver quality education to working executives, managers, entrepreneurs and professionals in all the nations of the world without any form of discrimination.

• To motivate, promote and reward the quest for knowledge by the granting of Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees and Fellowship to recognize and indicate evidence of achievement of competence by learners and graduates.

• To promote academic excellence and user-research among managers, learners, professionals and entrepreneurs.

• To advance the art and science of Open Distance Education.
